About Us

Carrie Alme
Owner
Carrie is  wonderfully creative and is always up to date on current trends. Lucky for us, she also likes to express her nerdy side and manages all the logistics of the business. She knows how to navigate the world of accounting and problem solving.  She and Jodi have two amazing children and a cute, little pup who adore her even more than we do.

Kim Worthington

Kim worked in the medical field before relocating with her family to Wisconsin. Her passion for design and decorating inspired her to open a furniture and home goods store which thrived for 10 years. Kim also enjoys volunteering for hospice for the last 9 years. At Alme Design Co, she is the store manager and coordinates staging logistics.  She lives in Cedarburg with her husband, 2 kids (both in college) and their very popular golden retriever Hazel.

Katie Ferguson

Katie has a background in corporate event + meeting planning and a love for design since she was young.  She is detail oriented, organized and creates the most beautiful spaces.  She lives in Whitefish Bay with her husband and two daughters who benefit greatly from her design acumen.  She and her husband are on their 3rd successful home renovation.  She is a truly gifted designer.

Natalie Stanczyk

 Designer

Natalie has lived and traveled all over the world. She draws on these travels for inspiration and has created her own style called “Modern Farmhouse Scandinavian” which is as fantastic as it sounds. Spending many years in the Pacific Northwest, Natalie has developed an appreciation for natural beauty that she translates into her designs by using  plants and natural wood tones effortlessly.  She and her husband live in Cedarburg where they are raising their boys.

Soon Hee Rauwald

Soon Hee has always had a love for design and architecture. Having been in the retail space for more than 20 years as an Art Director and Freelance Photo Art Director, we all now benefit from her eye for design and photography skills. She considers herself a minimalist and, as a result, is able to balance beauty and restraint in design.

She calls Whitefish Bay home where she and her husband are bringing up their daughter in a thriving community.

Stacey Soden

Stacey has been creating and decorating for as long as she can remember.  After graduating with a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree, she bounced around in various careers before finally pursuing her passions with home staging.  Stacey and her husband have spent the last few years DIY-ing and updating their home in Germantown, turning it into a place they love to spend time raising their son.

Tammy Dinauer

Pillow Production

Tammy has always had a passion for creating beautiful things. She started sewing on her mother’s machine at age 7. That same green Singer accompanied her to NYC where she began her career as a fashion designer after earning degrees from both UW Madison and The Fashion Institute of Technology. Her midwestern roots brought her back to Milwaukee where she spent many years designing gardens as a horticulturist for Milwaukee County Parks Dept. She and her husband live in Fox Point where they raised two wonderful children. When not crafting gorgeous pillows at Alme Design Co she relishes time tending her gardens and scouring thrift stores for vintage textiles.
